Should western countries stop foreign aid to third world countries?
Foreign aid doesn’t work very well. Billions and billions of dollars get wasted to short sighted projects. Corruption ends up eating a big chunk of the aid anyway. Africa is the world place for giving money – just look at how little development there has been in last decades.
Should we simply stop giving aid at all? Do the third world countries need to learn survive by themselves – learn to fish instead of being given free fish?
I’d like to see the money devoted to foreign aid minimized w/ a better focus on impoverished Americans.
