Best route to becoming a high school band director?
I actually haven’t done a lot of research on this, but I feel I should have. What I’m thinking right now, is to take a year off and save up money to actually afford college. After that, go to a community college, get an AA and then transfer to a university to get the BA. Do high school grades affect your chances of getting into the university? Mine weren’t that good, so I’m hoping it’s based off of the comm. college. Basically, I’m looking for whatever tips I can get. Along with that, can you guys reccommend a decent/good university for that in Washington state? I’ve heard that CWU and PLU are pretty good.
Once you have at least 30 units, you are a transfer student and high school doesn’t count any more.
