Vdb Cent

Linear equation word problem?
In 1998, Mark purchases a 1909-S VDB Lincoln cent for $150. By the year 2004, its value has grown to $190.
Use the relation (time since purchase, penny’s value C) with t=0 corresponding to 1998 to find a liner equation modeling the value of the coin.
For some reason I’m having trouble figuring it out. lol
In short, the Cent gained $40 in 6 years. Since the growth value is said to be linear we can assume the annual growth rate is 40/6 = 6.67 $/yr
The equation then becomes: C = 150 + 6.67t
