5lbs is it correct or is it 5 lbs?

Ok here is my problem I had an auction on ebay i was selling 5lbs of wheat pennies the buyer says it says 51 pounds of wheat pennies..she has me suspended untill this is resolved the auction said ( apx 5lbs of unsearched wheat pennies)

5 lbs. this is correct, you hae to put a space between the 5 and avreviation for pounds. Although people often foget to do this, this is technically correct. 5lbs looks like a word that some one didnt know how to spell the correct way, and make it all of one sound, a little life fivlbs (fiv-el-bs).
