I really doubt they are unsearched. They always have some story like they broke the ceiling in old aunt milly’s house and showers of wheaties came down. Then they counted them out to batches of 100 and they are selling them unsearched.

Now, even if the person that got them did not search them, over the 70 years or so, people were definitely looking for key dates. The truth is you really dont know if they are searched or not, and it is not possible to know. However, most of the times, they are cheap, and it is fun building your collection this way
