Uncirculated Wheat

RARE PENNY FOUND!!!!!!?
I just came across 2 1944 wheat pennies, unscratched, uncirculated, basically untouched. It looks like they just came from the mint in 1944!!! How much do you think they would be worth, each?
Far from rare, actually. You are talking about Mint State condition, which ranges from 60 to 70 (11 grades), and then there’s the coloring designation with wheat cents: Brown, Red and Brown, and Red. Of three coins with the same number grade, the Red sells for the most and the Brown the least.
Just the two top grading companies alone, PCGS and NGC, have graded thousands of Mint State Red 1944 cents (across the three mints, P-D-S). There are many more thousands graded by lesser companies, or ungraded. Ungraded, or ‘raw’ coins don’t sell for much more than a few dollars each, because there are more than enough MS 65 graded or higher coins out there to meet the demand of serious collectors. I would be very surprised if any dealer offered you more than a dollar each.
