Uncirculated Toned

Gold Panda Coin help?
I got a 1986 One ounce gold panda .999. It is in covered plastic, but not completely sealed. There are a couple of patina or “tone” spots on it. How do I remove this or should i not touch it? I believe it is uncirculated, so what is the proper way to handle the coin? Also, does the 1986 more valuable compared to a 2003, which i sold.
There were almost 3 times as many 1 troy ounce gold Panda coins made in 1986 as there were in 2003, so the older one is worth a bit less. You should take the coin to a coin dealer to see about changing the storage method for the coin and whether you should to do anything about the toning. I hope that helps.
