On the Sims 3, how do I change the lot type to fit in a movie set?

I recently downloaded Riverview, and I also recently bought the Late Night expansion pack. I’m trying to change a lot type in Riverview to be a movie set so I can access the actor career track, but when I try to change the lot type I can’t find the option to do so. Does anyone know how to do this?

I think that you have to make the lot a commercial property such as visitors allowed. Then, clear the whole lot and go into build mode. There should be an icon that looks like a grocery store. Click on that and select the movie theater and place it on the lot. Just make sure that the lot is big enough.
