Twentieth Century

For an assignment I have to deconstruct one pre twentieth century performance genre?

Pre means before the twentieth century so I have choose Hedda Gabler which is a play by Henrik Isben in the 19th century which is a drama based genre.
Deconstruct means to take the story into parts and the aspects from the play. Would be really helpful if I could have some advice!

Since most probably know the ending anyway, it might be fun to begin the play with the end. Open the play with the gun shot off stage and then go back and forth deconstructing the time line.

For inspiration watch the movies American Beauty, Sunset Boulevard, Momento, Citizen Kane.
Try to do it with out Narration.
Have fun.
