Toned Copy
is it possible to copy a specific guitar tone from a song e.g sweet child o mine?
hi. I have a boss gt-10 and I was wondering do you know if you can copy a guitar sound from a song and use it on the boss for e.g sweet child o mine. I heard something about frequencies. So could you use software to find out the frequency of the guitar on the song and then find out the frequency on my boss and copy it until its the same. obviously it isn’t`t going to sound exactly the same. But i was wondering is this possible. If so could you tell me what software to use and how to do it. Or any other suggestions you have. I am asking as there are lots of guitar tones i want to duplicate. I know it will not sound exact but as long as it songs very similar or as close as i can get it. Any suggestions on how to achieve this with a boss gt-10 would be appreciated . Thanks.
