States Proof
Should there be a law that states whoever get caught cheating (with proof) in a marriage go to jail?
And all the assets go to the injured spouse!….Of course it would be some kind of way to work out the child support issues if any!
I know I’m going to get blasted with this idea!
Sure, then why don’t you add people that gamble a couple’s entire savings. Or a spouse that is addicted to shopping and ruins their credit. Or a spouse that constantly puts their mother ahead of their SO. Or a spouse that is never there for the children. Or a spouse that goes out on a drinking bender and doesn’t come home for days. Or a spouse that is never willing to have sex and doesn’t have a proper medical or emotional (such as rape trauma) reason. And I am sure more than a dozen more examples.
People do all sorts of things that are horrible in a marriage. Cheating is one. But there are so many more. It doesn’t make cheating any better when you realize this. But it does put things in prospective. There are many things that people do that violates their vows. If you start singling out cheating then you are going to have eventually include many other things that destroy marriages.
