Am I allowed to retake my 8th grade ELA state test?

I am absent for the 1st part of my ELA state test, the 2nd part of the ELA state test is tomorrow. However, I am concerned if I am able to retake the state test this year. Some replies over the internet had said I could be left back. Are there any definite answers?

You won’t get left back. You simply take the makeup when you get back. Don’t sweat it. The more you do, the more chances you have to mess up on the actual exam.
