Packing Your Carry On Luggage For Surviving Long Flights

For example, freshening up is hassle-free if you got all your toiletries in a single resealable plastic bag. Any item that may leak or smell can be safely stored in such resealable containers.
If you travel with your jewelry set, it’s nice to place them in a jewelry box specifically designed for traveling. Usually, it’s divided into multiple compartments to keep your jewelry pieces from getting entangled with or bumping into each other. The inside too is protected with a soft lining. Your medications should also be in a single pouch for easy access. However, they should be stored in the containers they come in.
Many travelers prefer to bring magazines instead of books to accompany them during long flights. It’s because magazines are lighter and cheaper, so you can simply dispose of them after reading. You can pick a copy or two on your way to the airport, or at the airport’s newsstand itself.

The cabin air can be very cold and dry. Because of this, you need some forms of protection to keep skin dryness at bay. Apply moisturizing lotion to exposed skin as often as needed. Also, you should have in your pocket a small tub or stick of lip moisturizer. A small blanket, extra pair of socks or sweat shirt is great for warding off low temperatures during a long flight.
