The Proper Use Of Driveway Gravel

When you are building a new structure you need to think about quite a few different things and one of them is whether or not you want to have a driveway going to the building. When you attach the string to the stakes you’ll easily see the actual size of the driveway and will be able to make adjustments to the size and shape as needed. You may want to move the stakes and the strings around a few times to make sure that when you stand back and look at the outline it really is what you want.

You will need to start the prep work after you have staked out your driveway and decided on size and shape. This is the point in the process where you need to have all the tools, driveway gravel and other materials ready to go. There may be special equipment that you need and you should be sure that you have that ready also. If you are going to do the job right you may find that you need to rent some of the equipment for the job.

Once you have all the tools, equipment and materials, it will be time to lay your driveway gravel. You will probably need to stamp the gravel down with some specialized equipment because you want the surface to be firm. Once you have the gravel in place it will be time to have the concrete poured.
