Shot Gun

Paintball Gun Components

Your paintball gun is going to be the most beneficial piece of equipment that you have when you are playing the game. Paintball markers or guns are also known as markers and shoot paintballs at opposing players with a goal of elimination. When you hit other players with your paintball marker, you have then eliminated that opposing player from the game. The team who eliminates all other team mates by shooting them with paintball bullets wins the game.

The paintball guns are powered by gas or compressed air. Most times, the gas is expanded and is then used in powering paintball guns by carbon dioxide. The air and gas, depending on which type of paintball gun you use, is the element that forces the paintball pellets through the paintball barrel at very fast rates of speed. The speed is fast enough to make the paintball splatter on impact, but not quite fast enough to inflict serious damage to a person’s body as long as there are not multiple bullets that hit the player.

Paintball markers have become much more developed over the past few years. In the beginning, paintball guns were used in marking of trees and other things that needed to be cut down. This was what their first use consisted of. Now, these single shot guns are controlled electronically and are cocked automatically. The are also used for the fun game of paintball and are fully functional.

The 4 main components of paintball markers consist of the following:

* the barrel

* the body

* the tank

* the hopper

Hoppers also called loaders and this is the part that actually holds the ammunition for the paintball markers. The main function of the hopper is to force feed ammo and gravity, and to agitate feeding. The markers that implement the force feeding method or the agitate method have a much faster rate of firing speed than other paintball markers which use gravity as the feed method. Another draw back of agitate feed or force feed paintball guns is the fact that they malfunction a lot more often than other styles of paintball markers. Most other paintball markers implement gravity into feeding their ammo.

The tanks of paintball markers are main mechanisms of paintball guns that hold the compressed air gas, also known as compressed air. These are what helps the acceleration of the ammo that goes through the barrels of the paintball guns. Most players choose markers that implement carbon dioxide as these are much more consistent and reliable as well.

There are different types of barrels for each type of paintball marker and each comes in a special length. Here is a list of the lengths:

- twenty inch barrel

- eighteen inch barrel

- sixteen inch barrel

- fourteen inch barrel

- twelve inch barrel

There are many paintball players who use longer type barrels. Long barrels are much more quiet as well as accurate. Any paintball marker that measures less than 11 inches is considered to be less accurate and quite inefficient as well. The long barrel paintball markers must be much more propellant for the ammo that comes with the shorter version barrels on many paintball markers.

A glimpse of the future, and not because of its huge influence and umpteen million sales. The poor-little-rich-boy protest “Out ta Get Me” intimates that Axl Rose’s egotism and martyr complex were soon to grow bigger than his head; still, Appetite’s night-train wreck of punk and metal sounds and sensibilities make it more than just an emblem of its time. Whether GN’R are dancing with Mr. Brownston…

One of ZZ Top’s great gifts is its concision; even in the side-long-jam era of the ’70s, the Texans almost always fit 10 cuts on their albums. Surveying two decades of their output, Greatest Hits isn’t the perfect overview you might expect, but it’s still a pretty darn good driving album. The disc goes easy on the pre-Deguello stuff surveyed on their earlier best-of, and seems to digitally boost t…
