Do universities offer a set price for full time students? Like no matter how many classes i take will it cost me the same set price?

Most four year colleges or universities offer a standard tuition rate for full time students. If it is a private college, this rate will be the same for all students. Public colleges/universities will offer in-state and out-of-state tuition rates that will be different depending upon if you live in the same state that the university is located in. Typically a full time student is enrolled for 12 to 18 credit hours in one semester.

Typically, schools will charge on a per credit hour basis if you are a part-time student (taking 11 or less credit hours). They will usually also have an additional charge per credit hour for every hour over the full-time maximum (usually 18 credit hours).

Community Colleges and Junior Colleges typically charge on a per credit hour basis for all students.
