how to run the sims complete collection on a mac?
i have the sims complete collection for pc. I have a mac so i downloaded crossover and it works with some of my games but not the sims. So i heard that virtual box will work so i downloaded it but i’m not sure how to run the sims on it. Please help me i really wanna play it.

1. First step is to install Windows as a Guest Operating System in VirtualBox.
2. Once the guest Windows is installed and booted. Install the Virtual Box Guest Additions.
3. Add more Video Memory to your Guest OS.
Settings -> Display -> Choose more RAM based on how much is actually available on your video card.
4. Enable 3D acceleration (same place as in step 3)
5. Add a shared folder called data.
Settings -> Shared Folders
6. Copy your installer files for The Sims into this folder.
7. Boot your Windows Guest OS again and mount the shared folder.
Open the command prompt -> and type
net use J: \vboxsvr
8. Go into My Computer and open the newly mounted drive. You should see the installer files you copied over in step 6. Install the Sims like you normally would if you were running Windows normally.
