Teddy Roosevelt and Big Business is one term
Solid South meant that once upon a time, the South would solidly vote Democratic. This was something that could be counted upon.
League of Nations was what the world tried to create after WWI, which would be like the United Nations of today. When they turned their back on Haile Selassie and allowed the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, the concept was done.
