Roll Uncirculated
Uncirculated Denver?
I was just going through rolls of pennies looking for wheat heads, when i stumbled upon a weird looking penny that had A large D on the front and it also said Uncirculated Denver, and on the back, it has the treasury symbol( a scale, some stars, and a key) and it says.. Treasury United States of America. What is it? How much is it worth?
It’s a Denver Mint token(that’s what the “D” represents; the Philadelpia token has a “P” in its place) included as part of the official US Mint Uncirculated Set. Someone must have taken the other coins from the original mylar packaging for professional grading, leaving the token to be circulated alongside other cents. That’s probably how it ended up in rolls. I couldn’t find any price guide for it, so I guess it’s worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Nice coin roll finds
