Roll Sets

How can I get homemade roll dough to rise faster than just setting it in the sun?
I already use rapid rise yeast but when the house is cold or there isnt much sun out… what are some tricks to get dough to rise faster so I can cook it and get to eating it sooner!?!?
Warm up wet ingredients when making the dough. Once the dough is prepared boil water pour it in a pan about an inch deep and place it in a cool oven on the lower rack. Place the dough in another pan and put it in the oven along with the water. Let that sit for about 30 min. The steam should help it rise without cooking it, or taking the moisture out (which alows the yeast to do its job)
