Roll Red

Is it illegal to roll through a red light if you’re turning right?
To settle a dispute with my friend, I’d like to know if it is illegal to approach a red light, slow down to see that there is no oncoming traffic (yielding), and turn right, rather than coming to a full stop. His argument that it is treated as a yield sign.
Also, any information is welcome, but if you could find specific laws for Florida, that would be great.
Yes.
“Come to a complete stop at the marked stop line or before moving into the crosswalk or intersection. After stopping, you may turn right on red at most intersections if the way is clear. Some intersections display a “NO TURN ON RED” sign, which you must obey. Left turns on red from a one-way street into a one-way street are also allowed.”
Blake Shelton ” Ready To Roll ” Lyrics (Free To Red River Blue Album)
