Need to roll back a fresh installation of non-Acer Vista, to recover the original Acer-specific Vista ?

My Acer Aspire 6920 came pre-installed with Vista. No System disk was supplied. I did not backup the system, and when my Vista became corrupted I installed a separate Vista Home Premium. Now I’ve lost all the extra Acer functions on the machine. When installing, I renamed the existing windows folder to windows.old. How do I get the original system restored?

you might do better to try and go to Acer’s website and see if you can download their custom programs.
