Can I use Gold Bond Medicated powder on my cat for flea relief?

I just noticed, the scratching and have ordered frontline plus for cats but must wait 5 days for delivery. So, I was thinking maybe I could use the gold bond just till it gets here. I believe the active ingredient is camphor.

You should NEVER put human products on cats because they LICK THEIR FUR and will ingest whatever you put on them. Besides that, the powder will have NO effect on the fleas. Just wait till the Frontline arrives. You could also go up to any vet office and buy just one dose of Frontline or Advantage so you can use it immediately.

I do hope you ordered from a safe, reliable, US-based website? There’s lots of counterfeit product out there in look-a-like packaging being sold on sites like eBay and craigslist or from foreign sources.
