Refridgerator Kitchen

Refridgerator Kitchen
What type of light bulb do I need for my Kenmore refridgerator?

Just a standard kitchen stand up fridge with a freezer. Is there a certain wattage low enough where I’m safe from fire hazard?

Most fridges take an SES 15 watt screw in type bulb SES means small edison screw, there are odd makes around that use a small bayonet fitting so to be sure remove the bulb cover it might have small screw in it or just clips which you then need to squeeze the cover to remove it. Don’t squeeze too hard or it may crack. If you have the instruction book it will tell you how to get the lens cover off. When you do take the bulb out and back in, UN-PLUG the fridge so as not to get a shock.
Hope this helps.
P.S. If it’s an American fridge you will certainly need to take the bulb out as they vary considerably from make to make.
