Red Ultra

Does Infra Red light travel slower than Ultra Violet light? Is laser light faster/slower than white light?
Can any power be derived from a beam of light, say in outer space where no gravity/friction is present?
Light in a vacuum travels at the same speed always, and to all observes…the speed of light is basically the product of its frequency and wavelength; so when one increases the other decreases to keep the velocity constant…infra-red light has longer wavelength than ultra-violet, but lower frequency, such that both travel in a vacuum at 2.998*10^8 m/s all the time…
as for your second question, yes it is a possible to use light for thrust, there has been an invention called the solar sail, which uses light from the sun that is incident on a very large surface in order to move a probe in space where no friction is present…this is possible due to the fact that light has momentum (momentum = planck’s constant/wavelength) which it can transfer to the sail.
