Question about Almay Intense I-Color Eyeshadow Trios?
I have dark brown eyes with long, dark, curly eyelashes and dark brown hair, light-medium skin tone with rosy red cheeks and lips. I also wear thin-rimmed purple glasses. I’ve heard that girls with brown eyes can where practically every color in the rainbow but look the most flattering in shades of blue, green & purple. I heard about Almay’s Intense I-Color Eyeshadow Trios that supposedly have colors cordinated to bring out certain eye colors. Since colors like blue, green & purple compliment brown eyes, I was wondering if it would be a wise decision for me to buy either the Eyeshadow Trio for Green Eyes or the Eyeshadow Trio for Blue Eyes (as both of those eyeshadow trios have two different shades of one of the colors that compliments my eye color which is brown)?
Of course you can wear any of them that you like the look of. I find that if you like the look of the Hazel ones they usually look great on Brown eyes.
Green, blue and purple can make brown eyes pop, but be careful, use only a little bit, especially purple which can make you look like you have a black eye if its not applied properly! And pink tones can make you look tired.
If you are only going to use one colour from the trio you might be better off just buying a single shadow of that colour, NYX does great single eyeshadows.
So definitely you can get any of the trios, I personally love greens with brown eyes. If you are going to use blue I would suggest only a really thin line along the lashline unless you want to look really 80′s.
