question about grandparent rights?
my fiances’ father and step mother have been threatening him for the past year+ with nasty emails and phone messages and now we just had a baby and they are saying they will get grandparent rights. We do not want them to be around her. We do not feel comfortable having our child around them at all.
What can we do besides denying rights? Are emails enough proof? Also i live in rhode island and they live in Connecticut.
.Lucky you are states apart. However grand parents have no rights. especially a step mother.Although for bonding a strong family unity is beneficial.Nothing impairs parental rights
