How do I sound proof my room so I can play guitar at a higher volume?

My family complains, but i like playing loud. Understandably it annoys them when i play at midnight-1am, so i need a way to sound proof my room

Your best option is to use head phones, that when connected to your amplifier, will interrupt the circuit so that only you may hear.

Then you can play as loud as you want and afterward ask, “Huh? huh?” to everyone talking nearby.
