Whats the best free or reasonably priced Anti-Virus?

I’v had Norton 360 for a year but my subscription is about to run out, I know people say its terrible but I’v always found it to be very good but they want £64.99 which I’m not prepared to pay, especially at this time of year.
What are the best free or reasonably priced anti virus programmes?

AVG 9 is good free anti-virus software and have used a for some time and it is very good.
