Pretty Uncirculated

Pretty Uncirculated
Does anyone know any information about my 1929 red seal Richmond Virgina $20 bill?

I work at a bank and handle money daily but the other day i came across a 1929 Federal Reserve Bank note of $20 in pretty much uncirculated condition. It has bout a 3 millimeter tear on the bottom but thats it. It has a red seal and Bold “E’s” over the bill. It seems that a bar on the bottom of the note is covering i think the word treasury. On the top under “the united states of america” it seems that in the same ink of the “E’s” “or by like deposit of other securites.” Ive looked up info on the internet but cant come across one similiar to that i have. CAN ANYONE TELL ME MORE INFORMATION please. I have some idea of its worth but still and not sure since its in near perfect condition.

The tear may put the note into a low grade status. Your note would sell for less than $30 in grade fine and less than $175.00 in grade extra fine. The tear or any folds would take it out of the extra fine category, best bet see a currency dealer or two. Not a coin dealer, unless his showroom has lots of paper money. Someone needs to see it maybe there is a coin club near by that has currency collectors, I know they would help.
