Presidential Dollar Doubt?

Why do so many people doubt that the presidential dollars are going to fail like the Susan B. Anthony dollars? I personally find the idea that by 2016 the Ronald Reagan dollar will be released is very exciting! Also, does anyone have a clue how long the dollar program will last? Every 4 (or 8 if two terms are spent) a new president is elected… (2007-D dollars worth $3.50 as gem unc. 60%)

Dollar Coins are a failure because of the fact that nobody likes a heavy pocket of coins. Paper money in a wallet is 100x more efficient than coins.
