Will gold state quarters rise in value?

I recently purchased a set of ,(BU) Brilliant UN circulated,ALL 50 state quarters that are 24k gold plated and placed in an oak case…for $90….was this a good deal and will they rise in value over a period of many years?

This has been asked before on Yahoo Answers and it is mentioned on WIKI. The consensus seems to be that they will not rise in value. There is not enough gold on the coins to affect the price as the cost of gold changes.
