Perfect Cameo
Has anyone else read The Gunslinger saga by Stephen King and if so… ?
should they make the movie.
seeing as how mr. king has a habit of making a cameo in all adaptations of his books, the seventh book gives a perfect opportunity for him to play himself.
now who would you cast as roland, susannah/oddeta, eddie and jake
now that we’ve all reported in, oddly enough (on the 007 note) i was already thinking of peirce brosnan for roland, or viggo mortenson
susannah/odetta:
eddie: leo Dicapprio (due to his commanding preformance as jim carrol)
jake: the kid who played dewey in “malcolm in the middle”
easter egg: blain the train would be played by christopher walken or timothy currey
They actually are making a movie. It will be done by JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias, Cloverfield, Fringe, the new Star Trek). They arent sure if it will be a single movie, a series of movies, a made for TV movie, or a series of made for TV movies. I dont now how it could be compressed into a single movie, but I think Abrams could do it well. I wouldnt trust many people with doing that though. I hope for a series of R-rated theatrical movies. That would be just plain awesome.
As for actors, I couldn’t say. I can see the characters in my mind and I dont want that ruined.
