How accurate can I get?

I want to start shooting pistols as a hobby. Just wondering, how accurate is the average professional soldier, special forces, etc.? Putting bullets through a circle the size of a penny at 30 yards, and a quarter at 50 yards? I want to know realistically how accurate I can get, and how long it will take.

Take my advice…. Accuracy is a very misunderstood concept….. Take a few minutes and look at this youtube video concerning “Practical Accuracy” when it comes to pistols….
