Original Package
What is the longest you’ve kept a new item in its original package without ever opening it even once??
theres just some things that you get as gifts or whatever, that for one reason or another, you never open them or its a very long time before you ever open them.
an example of mine are some dolls i got years ago for christmas. i never took them out of their box, and i dont think i ever will. im not a little girl anymore, and those dolls have special meaning behind them.
There are certain collectibles that if you open them, they completely lose their value. We have a collection of Star Trek memorabilia and coins that if removed from their packaging are worthless…so we don’t. One day in the future our kids can sell them if they want. Right now we have a figurine in packaging that has been appraised in the thousands of dollars because it’s very rare and has never been opened. I think anything that is a treasure could be something you’d want to keep sealed..but on the other hand it would be a pity not to use certain items. So, it’s totally up to you. Keeping your dolls in packaging is probably a smart idea because they won’t become damaged that way. I have one from another country that is very old..and handmade. We had packaging made for it so it would be preserved better.
