Help with burning Wii backup?
I dumped a copy of my Wii game a while back, and now the original got too scratched to use, so I want to burn it onto a DVD for the Wii. I have already installed the Home-brew soft mod with DVDx. When I try burning the ISO onto the DVD with Nero, the burning process is fine but I end up with a disc that has nothing on it and has 0 bytes free. Also the DVD does not work on the Wii. Help?!?.
My CD/DVD drive is HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA.
I have tried burning on both DVD-R discs using both 2x and 4x speeds and DVD-RW discs using 2x speed.
I am running Windows Vista 32-bit.
Note: The exact same thing happens with ImgBurn.
The file is in .iso format and I installed Backup Launcher (gave up on DVDx) to the letter. I think it might be the disc type so I will get better quality discs.
“When I try burning the ISO onto the DVD with Nero, the burning process is fine but I end up with a disc that has nothing on it and has 0 bytes free.” It’s probably the file you are trying to burn. Make sure it’s an .ISO file. Either that, or somethings wrong with your Backup Launcher.
