How long must one be working for an employer before he’s able to receive the Full Amount for Unemployment?

There’s a certain amount of time that one must be working in order to be eligible for the full amount of Unemployment Checks. I believe this time frame is somewhere between 3 months and 18 months. This is in California. Thank you!

California requires 6 months, but you only need to make $300 a month (at that level you get $40 a week … woohoo)

The amount they pay for unemployment is determined by how much you made while working (more pay = more benefits)
