Whats the best way to remove old window tint from a car window ?
I have window tint on the back window of an older car and its now bubbled extensively and I want to remove it.
Well D M , I have tried several ways that usually end up destroying the fear defogger. Check here for a better idea that stinks like ^%$# but works really good.http://www.tintdude.com/remove.html. Lot`s of other answers you may have on this site as well. Depending on your car, sometimes I found it easier and cheaper to just replace the back glass with something from the wreckers, check here for local guys and see if it may be easier. http://www.car-part.com/. If you have lots of room to work, great. If it is a hatchback, take it off. May take a while, but better than working upside down. Have fun, and good luck. BTW. The heat gun only works on the older stuff and you really need to be patient.
