Which school is better, Oklahoma State University or the University of Oklahoma?
I’m looking at colleges and i was wanting some more feed back on the colleges i’m looking at. I’m wanting to major in Aerospace Engineering and both colleges would be great for me because i live in Oklahoma but i’m still just wanting some feed back on them.
Oklahoma State University has one of the top Aerospace Engineering programs in the nation!
Case in point: OSU has won the AIAA Design Build Fly Competition (THE international undergraduate aerospace engineering design competition) 5 out of the last 6 years – 4 of those years OSU took first AND second place.
In addition, OSU Aero students currently hold 2 or 3 UAV/glider world records.
Also, a team of 6 undergrad students from OSU won a grant from NASA this last semester to spend a week at Johnson Space Center and conduct their experiment in zero gravity on the vomit comet.
Go to OU for anthropology, pre-med, or poly-sci if you want, but OSU takes the cake for Engineering, especially Aerospace Engineering. We have the professors (who make time for their students), we have the facilities (wind tunnel, composites manufacturing), we have the experience, and we have the track record to prove it.
