What type of medical herbs grow in north carolina?

So i want to grow a herb garden mostly of medical herbs and i was wondering what types of herbs grow best in eastern north carolina and what they are used for? And please no one say marijuana -_-

MOST herbs have a medicinal use of some sort. And most all herbs, except tropical ones, will grow in north carolina.

So, pretty much take your pick, and you can grow them! And there are entire herbals, including ones that are so large they are printed in two separate volumes, so giving you a list here isn’t practical. If you could narrow down the herbs you like, or what conditions you’d like to have herbs that are useful for, tell us what those may be, and we could give you specifics on a few.
