Nickels Lot

Is there a way to tell if a piece of jewelery has nickel in it?

I wear a lot of rings but I’m allergic to nickel so I have to take them off once my skin starts itching.
I really love this one ring I have but I want to know if it has nickel in it.
Is there a way to tell just by looking at it?
