Nickels Better

i want a copper tea pot, but all I can find is with nickel inside. Is nickel good to boil water with?

Can I use all copper tea pot, or can i use copper outside and nickel or stainless steel inside. what is good for me?

All copper kettles that are meant to be used for boiling tea are lined. They need to be lined as copper oxidises very easily and it will discolour and contaminate the tea.

Oxidised copper is what causes the green powdery build up on copper pipes. As you can imagine that sort of thing wouldn’t make for a nice cup of tea.
