Bruneau Jasper, are gemstones that has a red color to it, the color comes from iron bearing chalcedony, that comes from Bruneau Canyon, Idaho, and is used to be the greater quality material being used.

I found that Bruneau Canyon, Idaho’s, mining site was flooded by a dam and water covered the area and lost the materials needed for these stones and when this happen it put a stop to the materials the miners were using for the stones and the material are considerably hard to find.
