Sims 1 info for the Nintendo Gamecube?

Hi, i’ve been very interested in buying the Sims 2 game but have only been able to find the Sims 1 for NGC. I was considering buying the Sims 1 but I didn’t want to without knowing more… So what exactly are the differences between Sims 1 and 2 is it really that big of a deal? Please I need some information on it badly ’cause I just ♥ the Sims games!

The differences are
- in sims 1 you move with a cursor, sims 2 you run around by tilting the control stick
-in sims 1 you can only choose to make food, in sims 2 you choose the ingredients and can make recipes
