National Park

What are differences between Yellowstone and Yosemite National Park?
Everything I’ve read about the parks seems like they are pretty similar. Is there anything specific in either park that stands out above the other? I was also looking into Glacier National Park. Any experiences?
They are somewhat similar but have different features that make them world’s apart.
Yellowstone is on a geologic hot spot in the caldera of a giant extinct volcano. It contains the vast majority of the world’s geysers. You see unique things there that are nowhere else on Earth.
The Yosemite Valley was carved through granite by glacier movement and the park is bounded on the east by the High Sierra Mountain Range. There are dozens of waterfalls and the sheer granite cliff faces are a rock climbers heaven. It has Alpine meadows, Giant Sequoias, incredible granite domes, and spectacular views.
Both are impressive and worth a visit. They are both places you should see before you die.

If you want stunning vistas, Yosemite is the place. Glacier Point is breathtaking.

If you want to see big trees, there are groves of Giant Sequoias in Yosemite (they are the largest trees on earth, bigger then the redwoods)

After you visit the Yosemite valley and Glacier Point, if you have the time, drive across the park on CA 120. It takes you to the east entrance to Lee Vining near Mono Lake. The lake is in a caldera of an extinct volcano. CA 120 crosses Tioga Pass, the highest vehicle pass in CA. You climb thousands of feet on a mountain road and reach the Alpine meadows of Yosemite.
