where would i look to find value of a mint set from 1989& value of 1989 anniversary harry s truman?

have mint set in box issue from mint and harry s truman is 100 anniversary and in mint condition is there a free site to look up

A 1989 what is called a mint set but it says Uncirculated set on the packaging, sells for $6.95 and dealers pay at least 40% less. The Harry S. Truman item has to be a medal for there are no coins by the mint for him. It was made by a private mint and may have paper work with it to help identify who struck it and who sold it and for what reason. You may have problems with the medal for few catalogs are out there on that type item. You can monitor ebay under presidential medals and see if any show up for sale. If the medal is the size of an older silver dollar and is bronze they usually sell for a few dollars and up. Larger medals sell for more and of course gold or silver ones sell for the value of the metal in them. I have bought commemorative medals for as low as $1 up to around $25 for the large 3 inch bronze ones. It depends on who made them and who designed them. That info may be on the medal itself.
