Before World War II, the main occupation in Minnesota was being a farmer. This changed a few decades later, the state having now a strong industry, many service providers and it seems to be good in high technologies as well, including medical equipment and software progress. The economy is so diverse, as it seems to cover every common business type of the country. Farming still provides Minnesota a big income.
The diverse and rich sites and extreme seasons with hot summers and cold winters seem to have a good influence on Minnesota’s inhabitants, seeing that they are the state with the most working out per inhabitant.
