Jefferson Silver

Is anyone familiar with US paper currency?
I have a two dollar bill printed in 1928. It has Jefferson on the front and Monticello on the back. On the front, under Jeffersons picture, it has the following words printed;
“The United States of America Will Pay The Bearer On Demand Two Dollars” I have seen silver certificates with those words but this is not a silver certificate.
You have a $2.00 United Sates Note. In 1928 there was 1928 and then series 1928 A-G. There are star notes for all of them also. The series 1928 is signed by Tate-Mellon and sell for $10.00 in grade fine, some of the the different series are rarer than others. A 1928B star note sells for 19,500. The Star is before the serial number. If the signatures are different then you have one of the other 1928 series. United States $2.00 Notes were issued as series 1928, 1953 and 1963. They added a letter to the series as the signatures changed and changed the date when the bill, had an overhaul.
