Jefferson Presidental

Jefferson Presidental
presidental coin set from the National Historic Mint.?

I can’t find anything on it on the net. They’re not dollars. It has Washington,Roosevelt,Kennedy, Jefferson, and Lincoln. The coin itself is silver and the presidents head is gold. They come in a black velvet box with the outside reading, ” The National Historic Mint”.

You have medals not coins. Just because the medals are silver colored does not make them pure silver. If the paper that came with them says they are .999 silver with a gold overlay on the busts then they are worth the silver in them for there is very little gold only a few cents worth. On most medal sets from private mints there is little to no secondary market for the items. Coin collectors do not want them and you would need to find a buyer yourself. There are no price guides for such items. Coin dealers pay a percentage below the spot price of silver the day you sell it and then usually send them to the melting pot. Many people have been taken over the years thinking it is a good investment, when it is a terrible investment. One never gets back even close what one has paid. Sorry for the bad news if they are pure silver .999 then you will at least get some money for the silver.
