Islands Quarter

2001 Rhode Island state quarert that’s silver?
Today at work I found at 2001 Rhode Island state quarter that appears to be silver. It isn’t the normal metal sandwich and it sounds just like a 1964 or earlier quarter. Is this from a proof set or something? What would it actually be worth?
The coin is in near un-circulated condition. It is very bright and shiny and has virtually no scratches. There is zero chance there is anything worn down about this coin.
The US Mint does issue silver versions of the state quarters.
Look at http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=14410&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10211
They are 90% silver – it would be worth slightly more than 90% the spot price of silver.
